AUDUBON ZOO PROJECTS

Nocturnal House
One of the biggest projects we’ve ever done. Completely redoing the Nocturnal House in the Audubon Zoo

Tortoise Pool
A seemingly simple project, everything is sculpted concrete. The rocks, wood posts, well, even the tires!

Lion Train Car
The biggest showcase of our theming abilities and prop making. More pictures coming soon!
The scene is set at an abandoned train station in Tanzania. Two train cars were left and have been set up as a ranger station and a base camp for researchers. We themed each car. Both have basic supplies like cots, cookware, canteens, flashlights, binoculars, raingear, handheld radios, maps, etc. The field research car contains other items such as a laptop, microscope, books, logs for fieldnotes, and cameras. Posters and other small items have been left by visiting researchers over time. The rangers use their car as a base camp for patrolling, conducting wildlife surveys and pursuing poachers. We made molds of and painted many items like handheld radios and binoculars, and fixed them in place so they cannot be removed. We aged other things like fans and lanterns so as to appear old and used. The outer walls of the cars and the inside walls were all aged and “rusted” where appropriate. We themed and painted the water tower. We also sculpted feet of different species of native animals so that realistic tracks could be created. It looks like a lion got something on its feet and walked through one of the cars. The back wall of each car is common glass with the lion exhibit. This one was a lot of fun!

Fine Art
Who We Are

We are a team of artists with extensive experience in many mediums and art forms. From sculpture to painting and everything in between, there is nothing we can’t create. We work with steel, concrete, fiberglass, epoxy, and other materials to best suit the situation. This allows us to build indoor AND outdoor artificial rock, countertops, sculpted/stamped concrete overlays, even aquatic design elements for pools and aquariums!

What We Do

We have built exhibits and large sculptures for zoos, aquariums, museums, and botanic gardens, but our goal is to focus on small to medium-sized projects. We specialize in sculpting concrete and plaster to create beautiful design features for your home, garden, or commercial areas. Outdoor kitchens, concrete overlays/concrete resurfacing, artificial rock, and more! We are happy to collaborate on specific aspects of large projects.

Our Mission

Our mission is to design and create things that add value, character, and longevity to your house or business.  We want to help bring your vision to life, from small-scale backyards/kitchens to small-medium scale zoo and aquarium exhibits.
