Bio
Dan
When Dan was four years old, he drew a flower for his mother; she told him that he was an artist and that’s what he became. He has extensive experience in construction and all aspects of exhibit theming and fabrication.
He makes naturalistic rockwork and trees that look real.
He is amazing with an airbrush and paints spectacular murals. His goal is to blend construction with art. While he works in many mediums, sculpting is his passion. He loves having a 360-degree picture of his subject, it comes naturally to him and he truly enjoys it. His hero is Leonardo da Vinci.
Brandon
Brandon started by spending summers working with his dad and started full-time after high school. Brandon has developed various interests with his inherited talent and creativity and is constantly learning new things.
Building forges, blacksmithing, even making cheese and soap; he can do anything he sets his mind to. He is proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, all of Adobe CC Suite, and 3D modeling programs (Blender, Zbrush, Inventor). He especially enjoys photo editing and painting in Photoshop.
Others
Judith recently retired from 30 years in the zookeeping profession, having worked mainly with reptiles and amphibians. She loves all animals and has dedicated her life to caring for them. She continues to investigate and learn all she can about their natural history and husbandry needs. She now has time to help out with research, gathering reference materials, and bookkeeping.
We have a small group of other talented folks who are available to assist with additional expertise in the areas of landscape architecture, graphic design, and life support systems (water quality and plumbing for fish aquariums, ponds, etc.). Rounding out the team is Dori-a loyal member who has been there since the beginning-always there for everyone with a smile and a wagging tail.
