This exhibit is set in a part of a circa 1950s African farm that isn’t in use any longer and has fallen into disrepair. Tortoises have discovered it and moved in. Everything is sculpted of concrete: the sagging rock wall with wood supports, the entire well, the bucket, the tire, everything. The pool is plumbed and can be quickly drained and cleaned.
