Shark and Ray Bay
We made a mangrove tree from scratch! Dan loves mangrove trees, so had fun with this. The Niagara Aquarium wanted a mangrove tree for their new “Shark and Ray Bay” exhibit. The tree adorns a large interactive touch pool. The sharks and rays are able to swim and hide amongst the roots of the tree. We also created beautiful sandstone rockwork around parts of the pool, including hidden removable panels for access to life support equipment.
